Open Sans was designed with an upright stress, open forms and a neutral, yet friendly appearance. It was optimized for print, web, and mobile interfaces, and has excellent legibility characteristics in its letterforms. This font is available from the Google Font Directory at http://code.google.com/webfonts/family?family=Open+Sans as TrueType files licensed under the Apache License version 2.0. This package provides support for this font family in LaTeX. It includes the original TrueType fonts, as well as Type 1 versions, converted for this package using FontForge for full support with Dvips. Installation and usage instructions are described in doc/fonts/opensans/opensans.pdf. This package is released under the LaTeX Project Public License, either version 1.3c or above, with the exception of the .pfb and .sfd files, released under the Apache License version 2.0.
